This hose is constructed with a black extruded EPDM heat-resistant tube and is reinforced with high tensile steel wire braids. The cover uses a red special compound which is heat, oil resistant, ozone and hydrocarbon resistant. Pin-pricked cover allows venting. Uses include saturated and superheated steam in applications where an oil resistant cover is needed.
