The WGC-CT Series “Constant Tension” worm gear clamp has a four-piece construction featuring a 5/8" wide, 300 series stainless steel band and housing, with a carbon steel 3/8" hex screw and ten Bellville spring washers, that permit the clamp to increase or decrease its diameter while in use. The extended inner liner protects hoses from damage. The Quadra-Lock housing design eliminates the risk of seam separation and provides more even sealing pressure. The arched, perforated slots offer added band strength and combine with the hex screw’s sharply defined hex angles for increased torque strength.
